Promotion! was developed by Prof. Nir Halevy at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, based on years of research and teaching.

Nir is a Professor of Organizational Behavior at Stanford University, where he has been conducting research and teaching courses and workshops since 2010. His research and teaching encompass a wide range of topics related to social influence in groups and organizations. These include power, status, and leadership; negotiation and conflict management; cooperation and competition; strategic thinking; social networks; group processes and intergroup relations.

Nir loves playing various board games and card games with his family. Growing up, he enjoyed playing basketball, chess, and Dungeons and Dragons with friends. His PhD was the culmination of training in social psychology, management, and behavioral game theory, and deepened his curiosity about human behavior.
